This year’s annual Summer Staff Party was packed with sunshine, laughter, delicious food, and brilliant company. A huge thanks to Ana Pastor, our Facility Manager and resident Party Planner extraordinaire, who hit a hole-in-one with the choice of venue and activities.

Let the Games Begin!
We kicked off with a round of competitive mini golf at the charming Putt in the Park in Wandsworth – 12 holes of fun, friendly rivalry, and the occasional wayward putt (some finding neighbouring courses… and ponds). The ultimate champion with the lowest score was our very own Head Coach, swimming instructor, and bookings coordinator, Tamsin Watt. Congratulations, Tamsin! Well deserved!

We highly recommend Putt in the Park, without a doubt!

The Walk to Victory
After mini golf glory, we strolled to The Queen Adelaide pub, where the rest of the team joined us for well-earned food, drinks, and a toast to another successful year at SwimWay.

Catching Up Over Good Food
The Queen Adelaide served up a fantastic menu, and between bites and sips, we caught up, laughed, and swapped stories. Thank you, Queen Adelaide for having us!

And the Awards Go To…
Founder Dan Pastor delivered a heartfelt speech reflecting on the past year before announcing two special awards.

Swimming Teacher of the Year went to the wonderful Sandro Squillace – a well-deserved honour. Well done, Sandro!

And a truly unique award went to Jenny Forrest, without whom SwimWay might never have begun. Jenny’s pool, originally used for scuba training, became the birthplace of SwimWay’s journey 15 years ago. Her unwavering support has been invaluable. The trophy reads: “Forever Grateful for your unconditional support and collaboration. You are truly unique.” Thank you, Jenny!
